My Two Soccer Players

Lukas and Isabel have always seemed to like soccer--maybe because their Papa is a big Bayern Munich fan--but this fall is the first time where they've both been enrolled in soccer programs.

Lukas is part of a Dedham Youth team.  They call themselves the Yellow Eagles.  He is so excited to be playing on a team with kids his own age (i.e. 5 to 6 year olds) because in previous years, he's been part of a program where the age range was from 3 years to 5 years.  He also likes having games separate from practices and playing twice a week.  **Update** Amazingly, Lukas' soccer team went undefeated this season!

Isabel has joined the soccer class that Lukas used to be a part of. She is one of the youngest players, but seems to enjoy it a lot.  She prefers to play the role of goalie and does a pretty decent job of defending.
