Fair at the Early Intervention Center

Some of you may know that Isabel was part of the Early Intervention Program in Massachusetts for six months to help her improve the clarity of her speech after having ear tubes inserted last June.  She is no longer in the program as a "patient", but is now a "role model" for other children in the program and gets to attend a weekly playgroup.  She LOVES the social interaction and pre-school aspects of the group.  So when E.I. was having a fund-raising fair this month, we wanted to be sure to attend.  Here are some photos of the kids participating in some of the activities they had available.

Lukas showing off the fruit-loop bracelet that he made (and promptly ate afterward)
Isabel making her own fruit-loop bracelet (hers was in-tact a little longer than her brother's after completion) :-)
Lukas sitting in the back of a fire truck that they had on-site
Isabel in the back of the firetruck--feeling so proud after climbing the large steps almost entirely on her own
Isa driving the Police "Bug"
Isa the "Safety Officer"
Lukas taking his turn to "drive" the Police "Bug"--see his hand on the stick shift?!  That was a little scary for his Mommy.

Both Lukas and Isa got "tattoos".  Lukas chose a construction truck and Isabel chose a sheep.
