To us, the novelty of having two children is still, just that, a novelty. I still can't believe that two little people can call me "Mommy" and Olli marvels at the fact that he can now use the phrase "the kids" when asking me about our children. He really enjoys using it in questions like, "How did 'the kids' sleep today?" or "What did you and 'the kids' do this afternoon?"
We are definitely having fun being a family of four and already we are noticing how unique our children are from one another, which brings real wonder and awe at God's creativity!
I am also definitely noticing a real difference in having two children versus one when it comes to the amount of time it takes to get ready to leave the house, how inadequate having just two arms is when both children need me to hold them and how hard it is to match their daily routines so that Mommy can get a little down time. :-) However, the joy and blessing that comes from being a mother to these two children far outweighs any challenges (and lack of sleep!) they may cause me. Here are a few recent photos of these very children.
